The best part is when all the fanboys and all the haters gather together in one thread and start flinging shit. That's when I grab a beer and pull up a chair and enjoy the show.

*goes to grab a beer and a chair*

I have an 2015 Audi TDI I bought in April. Waiting also on October 18 for Audi to buy it back. Already waiting for my Tacoma trd pro to come in around sept. No money down. Signed a contract to hold it meaning if I want to buy it or not. If I don't like it the contract is voided and the next person gets it.

Yeah, because we're quite sure that a new Ford product will have no new car issues whatsoever, right?

I've got a tacoma and 2 tdi's 14 jetta and 13 passat. we are keeping the tdi's and not getting them fixed. we bought them for what they are not because "clean". Our state along with 41 others dose not do diesel emission testing for passenger vehicles and light trucks :)

Actually, there are three crowds. You left out the 1st and 2nd gen owners that like to incite heated discussions.

Not as many. The Ranger has been overseas for a while now and probably got all the bugs out. The Bronco will be another issue.

I have been thinking about keeping mine as well that BUT here is a thought.

Since the emissions are a Fed thing. It might be possible that they will "flag" the VINs until it is proved that it has either been scrapped or fixed and not let a new registration be issued until one or the other has been done.

That's what I would have done if I still had my 2011 Jetta TDI. Great quality, reliable, 50+ mpg on the highway. It was my wife's car and was sold prior to moving to Alaska so we could buy her an AWD Subaru. I could careless about all the emission scandal garbage, that's not why 90% of TDI owners bought the vehicle anyway.

It may be sold in Europe, but after all the re-engineering that will be required to be 'Murica legal, it will have its fair share of problems. Besides that, it's a Ford.
