Right now, I don't think chuch will help. Maybe a ton of overtime between now and then, and maybe read up on driving laws. Court will be a wake up call for you.

It is not like the cop was being unfair. You broke the law and got caught, now deal with it.

Well, if they don't take your license it'll be a miracle. If this is your first offense, you could try for a prayer for judgement. Not saying with the stack of offenses on the list ( one of which sounds like hearsay, unadmissable) they'll consider it, but it's worth a shot.

There is another option. I can't remember the name of it (it's another 'prayer for...' something) but it allows you to do community service in order to not have these items appear on your record.

In any event, either of these paths will hover over you for three years. If you commit another offense, that one plus these will all appear at the same time. But they should help on the insurance if you can convince the DA to go for it. Otherwise don't be afraid to use a continuance, you get three.

Um where are your parents or Guardians? If this was my kid...you wouldn't be able to sit down you would be so busy with work and every community project in that town. You can screw with you life, but to endanger everyone else on the road and your friends is just stupid. You need to take a long hard look at your life, asking for prayer and support for doing something stupid is just added proof you need a wake up call.

Sack up and take you punishment like a man, then learn from your mistake and don't be stupid again. You lucky you didn't get taken to jail, and totally screw up your life.

I wish you the best of luck in life to come, but for now it sounds like you need this so you don't kill yourself attempting to impress your friends.

X2. Find a good lawyer. I spent a lot of money on speeding tickets and a DUI when I was younger so I learned my lessons the hard way. Good luck.

You are about to learn just how expensive it can be to be a dummy.

Good luck with it, and learn from it.
