Yea you gotta flip em upside down. Cut from the back. Much easier. Just use a utility blade. Or 20.

    Absolutely. For meself.

Figured its cheaper to split a place to stay! Or I could just go to Puerto Vallarta and hang out at El Chapo's son's house since hes probably not coming back.

There's a special roofing blade for utility knives for cutting shingles. Makes it much easier/faster - nail the shingles on, and go down the line with the hooked blade to make a clean line/length the whole way down.

Pros: Nice protection (sun, rain, snow), quasi theft deterrent

Cons: Limit height restriction on cargo when on, PITA to take on and off if you don't have a hoist system, mine leaks in the corners and a bit on the sides so that kinda blows.

as far as height goes, the rack I have on it now sits lower than a cap would. Has it always leaked?

Mine has always leaked. Even though I spent $1000 on it originally, it's kind of a piece of shit. Obviously many other 1st gen guys have no issues with leaking like I do so it's a topper dependent situation.

I've seen Leo's and Eric's 2nd gen toppers and you guys have a little "lip" on them that go over the rails and prevent my issues.

All things said, I run a topper on my truck 99.3% of its life.

Things got out of control here last night, apparently I found out I cant handle Patron too well since I get a rowdy. On the plus side, this place has a killer Margarita :anonymous:
