Just throwing this out there, the best wax I have found is some stuff that some guy told me about 30 years ago in NY. He had a 1968 Mustang with the original metallic green paint that still sparkled: in 1984! It's called Gliptone and you can get it on AMAZON. It beads up to 6 months. I go through about a can every 2-3 years, and wax my vehicles about 4 times per year. Great stuff. I am sure there are others that are as good, but this is the best I have used so far.

Inferno Red is a great color for the new Taco, just today I looked a new one at the dealership (a SR5 Access Cab) while my '99 was getting an oil change...but at 28K I can't justify that expense right now.

Which one beads for 6 months, the paste wax, liquid wax, or the Gliptone Paint Sealant?

    https://www.amazon.com/Gliptone-Car...?srs=3029577011&ie=UTF8&qid=1472308159&sr=8-8

    https://www.amazon.com/Gliptone-Pai...srs=3029577011&ie=UTF8&qid=1472308315&sr=8-11

I see they make a cleaner wax also. I like Meguiar's Cleaner Wax but may give this a shot.

I only use the carnuba wax. I tried the sealent once, it was OK, but not better than anything else I have used. The Carnuba paste wax is better.

I do a 2x2 foot area and wipe and buff it pretty fast. You don't want to let it dry or you will be buffing for a long time. Those microfiber towels from Costco work well too.

I use the stuff my detailers use...First Canadian Diamond Kote. shit's bananas. Used it on my CRV and with regular washes I only started to get swirls again after a year of no polishing or waxing. Still beaded water really nicely

Don't think I'll be trying this wax then. Better stick with Meguiar's. I can wax my entire truck with Meg's before I wipe it off.

I'm trying so hard to wait a year or 2 before buying a 3rd gen (in Inferno of course).. But shots like that make it difficult. That looks good clean!

I'm trying real hard not to trade my paid off 2.7 in until the warranty runs out at least!! I sent a dealer the build sheet below. Wanting to see how much he knocks off. I can deduct those accessories and buy them cheaper on ebay.

What the shit are you trying to do Chevy? It's orange. But it's lacking the gold and red metallic of Inferno. (That's me off in the BG)
