What can we talk about?

If I can't ask for performance advice or how to questions regarding my Tacoma on a Tacoma forum then what can I ask or talk about without it being reported?

What's wrong with asking how to remove the speed governor? It's completely legal to do so.

I don't know for sure on the Tacoma but on most vehicles it is electronically limited by the ECU. A reflash or chip is required to reprogram the ECU to not limit the top speed. This is extremely common on other models built for performance but I doubt it's readily available for a Tacoma.

 

Man we're hammering this guy and I have yet to see what laws he's breaking.
We got plenty of catalytic converter delete threads still open since 2010 and that's a felony. Idk maybe I'm missing something.

 

Ask questions, get reported, get answers, dont let the internet get to you. Some things that are questionable will get a lot of flack. If you are doing it in a legal way, thatll show and youll get your answers eventually. Dont be swayed if you have legit questions.

 

I have talked about many things on TW without being reported.
In fact, I have been talking with some very knowledgeable members about how to get shims in, these past couple of days.
And before that, about arranging a trip to see some ancient cemeteries in the area.

Legality has nothing to do with what admin allows to be discussed.

Privately owned forum and we all agreed to follow the rules at sign up. Not sure what is confusing.

what was it you may have asked about that got you reported. i've only been on here a few months but have recieved good advice from some and the how to articles have helped. i've met some great people and some ding a lings also

I took that as on street. I doubt @tcBob means we can't talk about going fast mph at a track?!!
