Look brother I'm not trying to break all the crayons in your box. If people have problems they post them. If they are happy they generally don't make threads saying how happy they are i get it. To act like these aren't real issues is asinine. If I'm spending money on a vehicle I need to be confident I don't need an extended 200k warranty or that I'll be back to have silly stuff to be fixed right away. Esp new trans, CPS sensors and diffs. Fan boy or not problems are problems. Either way I will be watching to see what is done in 2018 (if anything). Until then my 2010 is still chugging along.

I'm glad yours isn't problematic btw. They really are beautiful trucks.

Cps was a small batch from their provider. Has been fixed with a different provider for everything after March or April builds I think.

BUT IT WILL LIVE ON UNTIL ETERNITY OR 2018 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's when the bad batch of CPS sensors everyone is having will be used up.
Saw 37 on the side of the road on the way home yesterday.
Amazing what people make decisions on. Amazing.

Well you should go get a Colorado or Canyon! You sound pretty convinced so why wait around? Life is too short.

You're right, not all new trucks have these issues... my 2016 Tacoma TRDOR doesn't. And you'll generally find a 90% satisfaction rate for the 2016 Tacoma amongst PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY OWN ONE in this forum. Seems like you'll find a similar "dissatisfaction" rate amongst Gen1/2 owners, but really they don't know anything except what they've read about from 2-3 people with lemon trucks. But of course it's entertaining listening to you tell us all about how our trucks are all POSs when you don't even own one!

I'll tell you I had a brand new 2003 tacoma for 8 years and never had an issue with that truck. These 3rd gens are on another level.

1 R.O. away from lemon. Been dealing with FTS engineers from regional, corporate and the director of service for entire auto group of where I bought my truck.
