So just got back to Lakewood this afternoon from Houston, we drive my buddies 96 4Runner back. Before we went to get it he had his truck serviced and checked out by his brother who is a professional and who works with a master Toyota tech who looked it over as well. So we get home and I hop under it to check it out..... Then I find the sway bushings are toast, low on clutch fluid.... Like real low

 

Woke up this morning went to leave and there is this car parked half way across my driveway WTF
I can get out by driving over my neighbors lawn which I'm sure they don't appreciate...
Man some people are inconsiderate and fucking dumb.. The car belongs to a friend of my neighbors on the other side. I left a note on her car... What a stupid B----

I would have had her car towed.... Park in front of my driveway and see what the fuck happens.... But yes totally agree people are inconsiderate and oblivious

 

Yeah if it's not moved I'll call the cops but I live in Denver and they take for ever to respond to anything lol

Knowing which house to visit, I'd have knocked on the door requesting the car be moved right then. If that didn't work, next call would be to figure out how to have it towed.

Had someone do that to me once. None of my neighbors knew who's car it was. It crossed my mind to pull all the valve stem cores out until each tire was flat, then reinsert. But, I don't need that kind of trouble should I be charged with something over it. The police were busy with something else at the time, but vowed to come back (as it was also parked facing the wrong direction). I didn't stick around to see what happened.

 

If it's parked on private property, the police would probably try and contact the registered owner, which usually means driving across town to an address they no longer live at. Doubtful that the pd would have a tow company remove a vehicle from private property, they would tell the property owner to call for a tow themselves.

 

Good point. I made the assumption we're talking about on-street parking which blocked the driveway. That was the case in my situation, FWIW.

I saw a new Nissan Titan yesterday. Looks like an F150 fucked around with a beached whale.

 

Now that the tred Pros have been in hand for a little while, anyone tried or used them yet?

Although I saw the price is up to $245 for a set so.... thats a bit too close to a tested and proven Maxtrax.

 

Holy shit, these things are amazing. I wish I knew about them sooner.

 

Seriously. When I saw them at the car show last year I thought it had to be a joke.

 

I would have hooked my tow strap up to its front driver wheel and dragged it across the street.

 

There were the asshole neighborhood kids (since moved out to college...maybe) who knocked on my door at 11:30pm one Halloween night looking for candy. They were in high school at the time. Obviously I didn't answer, I and my daughter were sleeping.

So they removed a ceramic ornamental wall hanging off my house (next to the front door) and smashed it.

A couple of nights later I went and removed the valve stem cores from two of their tires and their spare. I threw them into their backyard.
