100 % sure , second generation and third generation use the same fog lights , on the second generation you have to remove the black plastic cover and do it from the back , and the H11 plug should just plug in with no adapters .

Nice job! If I wasn't getting a plate bumper I'd definitely do this upgrade...

Good find OP. Those fogs look good both day and night. I already bought some Baja Design fogs from another member, but if I didn't, I'd jump pick up a pair of these.

I just ordered a set for my Limited. The fogs on this truck are the worst ever...just about useless. I've got the lowly H16's with plastic lens covers. Just pathetic!! Have been looking for replacements, and this is just about as good as it can get as far as OEM, I think.

Question, though...I can't tell from your photos, but do these mount perfectly flush against the bumper on the inside? If someone didn't know better, would they be able to tell that these weren't stock from the factory? Too late for me, now, as I've already ordered a set, but curious.

They fit identical to the OME original fog lights, Plus they are projector LEDs so it does give you a decent light pattern. the swap is extremely simple , one screw , unplug the light and pull it out , reverse the process to install new ones . ( from the top by the grill , no need to remove any thing.)

Perfect!! Thanks...and I'll post up once mine are installed. These are more expensive than the Morimoto XB's, but they're OEM. As far as output, practically ANYTHING is better than the stocks on the Limited.

Wait... what? Smitty something actually works on your truck?? That's awesome!

Side note ... I replaced my stockers with LEDs and those Lexus lamps are exactly the same as the stock from Tacoma. Same shape same adjustment knob everything. I've been looking at other Toyotas and there's other parts that are the same as well. Not surprising....

You had to do the same thing on your truck ... just to clarify, right? Remove black bezel and unscrew from the back which is a PITA but not that hard replace lamp and re-install bezel.

so aside from being able to say they're a lexus part, is there any reason you'd recommend this over something like the TRS led fogs? Seems like the output on the TRS fog is better

There are several factors to light output, in using lumens amount, dispersion, cut off, etc. I'm no expert so can't say how these will compare to aftermarket offerings, just FYI.

Seems that around here, running fog lights (and needlessly blinding everyone) is a fashion statement more than anything else (I see fog maybe once per year), so bling bling.

from pictures I've seen of the TRS fogs, they have a pretty clean cutoff . I don't see those being very blinding unless you're behind a lowered vehicle

I mean fogs in general, not those specifically. In my lifted Tacoma I get blinded by low sitting coupes and sedans every few minutes. And occasionally there's the ferd fteeeen-thousand on a 12" lift with four sets of halogen-housing-mounted HIDs riding my ass, but those guys will always be "special."
