4 Wheel Parts sent me a $50 gift card when I ordered my tires. That would make these TG sliders pretty freaking cheap. I was impressed with my TG bumper. They are listed as bolt-on, but I don't see why I couldn't just weld the bastards on. Thoughts?

Edit - I think I remember @lowinhz saying he had welded on a set of bolt on TG's. Am I right?

 

TG makes some good stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to do that since you have a $50 gift card

1st gen is always needing something nowadays it seems and I work a weird work schedule and rarely have 2 days off in a row. It's always hard to tear the truck down and have it ready for work the next day.

 

If I were to get a commuter I'd get a civic or accord or something. Not a low mile 5lug

 

Sitting at urgent care center after picking up a secton of countertop, hopping out of the back of the truck and twisting my ankle over before falling into the creek in front of my yard, sober......TADAAAAA!!! Thought it was just a really bad sprain yesterday at 4pm, can't put weight on it now without lots o' pain.

 

I use my bed several times a week though. Even more during hunting seasons. Not too worried about the MPGs.

 

Fuck it, sell the 1st gen and buy a 2nd gen.

Well at least you know the problem was that you were sober. Hope it's not a bad sprain/tear, those suck worse than a break.

 

I heard it crack two or thee times on the way down but didn't think it was broken. Waiting on xray...

What's that old saying about 2 ships in the night...? I just walked out of the doctor's office with a clean bill of health! Numbers good. Latest scan clear. Scars about healed up. And 2 meds now off the list.
