Also, the statically assigning plates i like. These guys wanted to put down 16 bombs and then pop them. What a clusterfuck it was.

We had it twice and both times it failed cause someone didnt know what bombs to detonate.


The runner constantly missed also. This is a crucial role. I actually feel the 2 titans in the center have the most work with those damn ogres. If the plate people dont help, it makes it even harder.

 

16 Bombs is the ONLY way we do it now. Even if it isn't CM. It's just easier and faster. Cuts out the "running around in circles phase" of the fight. If you watch the video that is exactly what we do. 16 bombs (4 rotations).

I agree... Whoever runs can not miss or be late or it will most likely be a wipe. Whichever member in the middle is assigned #4 bombs will have to pay attention to which bombs they need to run too. Not hard though. It will be the at the place the last ogre was killed.

 

Id really like to finish this tonight before the reset. Wr made it to Oryx in less time than killing the asshole.

Think I popped 326 last night so im getting there. Looking fwd to a new sigil and hopefully its not shit like a few weeks ago

With those weapons you either need to run the relic or be on a plate. A 335 ToM will burn the Ogres down in a heartbeat but since you don't have one of those you'll be best served to snipe your knight when he appears and use your sniper to stagger Oryx and shoot the shade. Hung Jury will be fine for taking out adds but The Last word?... Meh. Great PvP weapon. Universal Remote? Put that in your vault. It will not be needed here. Hawksaw burns through ammo fast and a scout is better for the Oryx fight (my opinion). Rocket Launchers are essentially useless in the raid (well not useless but not great). The entire raid is a DPS race.

So since you have a good sword either run the relic or take a plate and snipe your knight. Let the others with a ToM burn down the Ogres.

 

I run this set up through the entire raid and then switch to the 335 ToM for the Daughters onward.

 

This was just in general what ive built so far for both PvE and PvP. Remember, ive only been playing for about 8 weeks.

I was thinking id try running cause the justpack works well as long as you set it to boost height.
I ran once for the bitches, first time i failed cause i was on the wrong jetpack. 2nd time i nailed it.
We actually killed the bitches fast for being newbs.

I'm a 334 Titan. Trying to finish the first part of the Book of Triumphs before Rise of Iron comes out. Just need two more fragments, War Priest and Golgoroth challenge mode.

I wonder if there are any Destiny themed truck builds? Not sure how you could do that. I actually thought about naming my Taco the "Traveler".

 

Im not even going to bother with the book. I have like 4 done just playing normal.

I tried to preorder but MS said out of stock. How can you be out of stock on a code?

 

Honestly I find the Daughters to be the most problematic. We have a few members that have difficulty jumping and if they get torn it's a crapshoot if they will get the relic in time. Idealy you want the relic within 28secs to no more than 30 secs to take the daughters down.

 

Oh... one thing I forgot to mention. If you are running someone through for the first time. After you take down Golgoroth and get to the piston jump puzzle tell them they have to go up and touch the light and it will spawn a exotic chest. Tell them you only get the chest the first time you do the raid. It's funny as hell watching them run up to the light and get blasted across the screen

 

Happened to me my 1st time. I jumped and died and said you dick.

 

So pumped for the new raid. The raid Armor looks awesome, finally. So sick of the hive themed shit

 

That's why I only run IB or Trials gear. I hate the look of the raid armor.

Yeah pretty much everything from kings fall was just infusion fuel. Armor and weapons. I miss the VOG days

 

Dead orbit gear I like with red chroma. Here is mine now but with a brand new chest piece i popped last night. This wont show chroma though

 

Oh yeah... Everything that comes out of the raid is just infusion material for me. Every time we do the totems I get what I like to refer to as the "infusion rifle".

 

hey so I just picked this game back up about 2 days ago. lvl 27 and looking for ppl to play with. it seems like ive done every mission solo since no one ever wants to play (which im cool with i guess).

I hvnt touched any of the taken king story yet, I figured id finish the original, then do the taken king stuff...any issues with doing it that way?

I am currently doing some mission thing about the wolves. mission set comes from the queen on venus???

thoughts???
