Yeah having a Matt finish they are not easy to clean. I use the same water in bucket I use on the whole truck with wax soap from a local detail supply store along with a soft wash mitt then I dry them with a bath towel .I also take the truck down the street and back and dry all the drips.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
That's the dumbest logic I have heard. That truck will not sell. He may be able to sell it for the $40K it's worth. "There is an ass for every seat". Good luck finding an ass dumb enough for this deal!

Removed the black vinyl from in between the windows. The vinyl looked ok on the MGM with tinted windows but not on the Barcelona.

That look's much better. I thought that black was painted on. How did you get it off? Did you have to heat it up?

It peels right off as long as you don't leave it on for too long. Some people use a hair dryer but it was about 95 degrees out so they came off really easy and didn't leave any residue.

Here are the full specs in case anyone searches for this combo. I couldn't find any pictures of this setup so I just went with it and it turned out great. 2016 Tacoma with 3 inch Readylift level kit. 3 inches in the front and 1 in the back. Truck is perfectly level now. Tires are Toyo Open Country Xtreme 285/65r18. Wheels are 18x9 FN Wheels model BFD gunmetal. My gas mileage is down by about 1 mpg. Truck did not lose any responsiveness on take off. These wheels are very light, so I think that helps a bit.

held in place by the carpet. i put the stud in the liner, lined it up, and pressed down to create an indent, then used an awl to puncture the carpet.

screw in, reattach passenger liner, profit.

also took out the screw to assess the damage from the install, VERY minor, especially since it will almost always be covered.

An hour? How much beer did you drink while doing it?

Yea I just went out and threw something in my truck and notice just a little bit of residue. I'll have to stop and get some Goofoff on the way home.

I was undecided too. Tomorrow will be 1 month since I got the truck and It's got 3,500+ miles, so I've been looking at that vinyl plenty. I think it looks much better without it though. Happy with the outcome.
