How come when I try to build my own Tacoma Double Cab on TOYOTA.com I cannot pick the DoubleCab with 4x4, V6, and manual transmission.?.?

Why is that? On the website, you can view the doublecab with 6 speed manual transmission but not when you build it.

I have seen the single cab and short box with manual tranny in real life but never the double. Do they even make it?

Oh and Hi! Im new here! I am planning to go purchase a new car this weekend! Its for sure a Tacoma but my uncle and dad wants me to buy a sports car which I rather have a Truck!

I like how the single cab looks but the double makes it huge! Its either Red or White for me! And I might pick up a Auto instead. I've driven a couple Manual 1st Gen but never a 2nd. This is going to be my DD so Im still debating.

thanks for wasting your time reading my post! haha:D

I don't think you can get a DC in manual trans V6 4x4. At least that's what one dealer told me around the time I got mine. Made it really easy to decide, b/c I wasn't willing to give up the DC for a manual trans.

    Also. Welcome!

P.S. I'm not sure how correct this info is. Anyone else know? :anonymous:

They may have discontinued it, because I have seen them before. Also, are you in Canada, WRX? Because I've heard you can't get the DC in a stick at all in Canada.

Gotcha. I was confused why an 09 mattered if the OP was building (I assume) a 2010.

From the sound of your post, doesnt sound like your ready to buy anything this weekend.

Slow down. Research, research, research, test drive, and figure exactly what you want.

    Put this on your fridge.

btw 6spd DCabs are out there in Short bed only, but can be hard to find in some areas.

I too have a 2009 6sp double cab - short bed. I just checked Toyota's web site and I can build a 2010 6sp double cab - short bed (in NY).

I really wanted the long bed (which isn't really long), but I wanted the manual more. I was at the auto show last April and the Toyota sales people there had no idea why you can't get a manual in the long bed.

That's what I have. They don't make the manual in a long bed though from what I'm told.

I looked for months for an 09, never could find one. In late Aug I found a 2010 that came in to a local dealer and jumped on it. It had basically everything I was looking for.
