    Retired Marine curmugeon living in rural Vermont with wife, four golden retrievers, three mean cats and 150 acres of hardwood forest. I ride a BMW R1200GS all over the country when the ground isn't covered with snow and ice. The truck gets me thru some pretty nasty conditions, especially in Mud Season.

    Just traded my gas hungry Chevy 2500HD on an 09 Tacoma TRD Offroad access cab w/ 6 spd manual, JBS sounds (and that UGLY subwoofer!), MP3 port and just about every option imaginable. It had only 3475 miles on it, and I picked it up for $24k.

    Score!!! :D

    The dogs and I are looking forward to many happy miles in the Taco

    Hi and welcome!

    I'm new too, a fellow old fart, and another dog person. I lost my golden to cancer a couple years ago, and have a Brittany now that I hunt and compete with in field trials and hunt tests. The only good thing about not having a golden in my truck anymore is there isn't quite as much fur wrapped around everything! Still miss him. Goldens are great dogs. I bet they love the truck.
