I transferred my ham radio dual band mobile radio from what was once my car (now my wife's) into my 2010 Taco, which I just bought last week. I will say it's basically installed but lots more work to do, dressing/rerouting some wires...mine has a separation kit so the head went on the dash under the AC/heat controls using 3M double lock...https://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotch-Pr...5660&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=3m+Dual+Lock&psc=1
We use this stuff by the mile at work.

The rest of the radio is hiding behind the driver's side passenger seat. I need to figure how and where to mount a speaker. I just threw the one I had hooked up to the radio on the back seat for now but eventually want to get it up front somewhere.

At this point I'm also running the coax for the antenna out through one of the back doors but need to find a place (rubber grommet somewhere) where I can get it outside without having to go through the door's gasket. I had considered punching a hole in the roof and installing a permanent NMO style mount but I realized that the antenna would interfere with my canoe when I have it on the rack.

Go with C load, they are in between P and E, plus they ride better.

Those tires look awesome. I know they are pretty new, it might take some time. I'm pretty sure the new BFG's come in C in that size. I have oem rims so I went with Cooper AT3's, I love them, more than the old BFG's.

I used to have a '99 4 banger and I had 33x12.50 E rated tired. And also got 16 mpg! Almost as good as my v6

    Just a few minor things.
Not that you care or want it but... I would suggest removing the plastidip and either putting on a few coats of Rustoleum or rattle can bed-liner. That derp will come off the first time you put some tension on it with a tie-down. JMO

Did my weekly quick detail on the exterior of the truck. Ive got so much wax on the truck that after I quick detail it, it looks like Ive spent all day cleaning it.

Dude water doesn't even stick to my truck there's so much wax. Last year before school I had 7 coats. And then 2 coats of Meguiars gold class wax every 2 months at the longest.

Look under your truck, there is probably a rubber plug you can cut a slit into and pull it thru. Just remember to reseal it with some silicone sealer.

Don't slit, just make a clean puncture. A slit will start to grow as the rubber ages. A clean hole should stay the same size and seal around the cable.

Plasti-Dip is tough stuff when it's stuck to metal. I use it to protect my pool step rails and it has held better than regular paint. I thought the plastic would fall off after a few months of immersions, but it really sticks to the steel. No chips or damage from people grabbing the rail with rings on their fingers. I know bedliner is tougher, but I'm impressed with Plasti-dip

We used tinted stoneguard, which is normally used on the sides and underneath vehicles. It was made for this application and should hold up. I was concerned that bedliner would be too heavy and prone to flaking.
