I can't believe how expensive it is to stay in the forest now!
I remember when it was $3 or even $5

I remember the same which is why finding yellow post (primitive camping) is most enjoyable to me. Paying to be told to be quiet at 2200 if I'm not ready to be quiet, or hearing everyone else's noise if I'm wanting peace, and the sound of generators isn't overly appealing. However, this is going to be a great group of people so the price is worth it. When it's just a couple people and there are no fire restrictions then yellow post is where it's at.

I'm down for moderate difficulty. I don't have skids, but we just did MJT and I came out of that fine so I feel pretty confident. That said, I'm trying to make it to an event on Saturday afternoon so I don't want to spend all day behind the wheel.

Cool. If @dtaco06 makes it up at a decent hour maybe you can join us for a run departing near camp that goes off road to the lake (super easy Clark's Grade and this time of year a civic can make this trail - pretty view though). And then hit White Mountain for some moderate trailing. I haven't hit white mountain but he has. Really wanna check it out. Jacoby I've done a few times. Like I mentioned, it's a good warm up and very short.

White mountain is a good time. Really rocky but not too difficult. Took a little dif/skid/wheel and tire damage but that was most likely my fault.

I would like to join you guys. I am not sure if i will be able to camp or not. If I do it will be a last minute thing and I will book my own site (if there are any available). If i do not camp i would like to join for wheeling saturday.

What's up Sandz. I've been doing well. I'm not putting together the meet, but I am pretty confident that there will be one some time in Nov and/or Dec I would imagine. I AM, however, planning on going out to AB, but not for offroading purposes as more for astronomy. If everything goes well, I'm thinking about doing that at the end of Oct 28-30, possibly. Depends on how much the temps drop during the daytime. So, yeah, I guess in that sense I am, but it is not a "meet", but if anyone wants to tag along for that weekend? Anyways, I will have plenty of things to do during the daytime anyways. I'm the type that doesn't get bored as my mind is always thinking of something. LOL, I need an EZ-UP!!! I don't want to go to Holmes Camp Ground for this particular trip as I want to be a bit more "remote". Thinking about the primitive camp ground near the Fish Creek Wash entrance??? I don't know yet for that one?
