Are the OEM wiper blades inserts or full wiper? I installed some Goodyear but they suck. The OEM have always been good.

Oem wipers are inserts. Cheaper and more effective imo.

This would worry me a lot. Are you not afraid of getting water in the filter? There is a reason it is tucked away in the engine bay and not in front of the grill. Id hate for you to hydrolock your engine just by driving through the rain.

I actually took it off and went back to my air raid. I like the sound better and didnt get my hydroshield in time for my trip to college station with my load for my apartment. And the ease of mind with the air raid is nice. I put the urd up for sale

My paint guy called it stoneguard, but I can check the actual name when I pick it up. Same stuff they use on the lower panels of trucks and cars. You can mix regular colors into it just like most paints. I think LineX is a different formula

Replaced my blower motor, blower motor wire harness, gutted some AC controls to fix my current AC controls. Up next is finding a junk yard with a wrecked truck where I can cut sections of the harness out of it to fix mine.

I used electrolysis to remove rust at a molecular level from a cab mount bolt.

Bolt will receive a new protective coating soon. lol :D

I have a V6 with 285/70 E-rated...about 18 mpg. 15 of my 20 mile daily commute is highway though. But, the truck struggles going up a long steep incline everyday unless I do 70 mph. Otherwise, I have to downshift to 5th...it's about 2 miles of continous incline though.

took my aluminum wheels with 285's off they weigh 68lbs put my stock ugly assed steel wheels back on with 245/75/16 e rated tires they weigh 72 lbs we'll see what that does may be a good compromise to find some aluminum wheels and install 255'85/16's on them weight wise should be similar by the way the black wheels with tires will be for sale

If you know where I can find a wrecked 2nd gen so I can cut the harness let me know. That's the only part left to fix right now.
