You just answered your own question! It's a beer that's sour

Not all entirely true. Some are aged in wine barrels, a lot are not. They become sour during the fermentation where they become infected (good infected though). And not always higher abv. I've had plenty of sours in the 4% and lower range. But it doesn't change the fact that sours are amazing.

Once you get used to Belgian beers and the like there's no going back, I had no idea beer could have so much flavor and be that much stronger than what I was used to prior. Also got me into craft and local brews. Drinking Coors and Bud now is like drinking old, slightly fermented carbonated water :puke:I do like Bud Light Platinum though (6%) if I don't feel like spending the $$$ on anything else

I like the craft beers, too. Although everything is deemed "craft" these days. Craft beer, craft cheese, craft eats, craft craft craft. haha.

I do like the Coors when day drinking. Choice beers with a fine cigar and a meal or at the end of a long day. Drinking those heavy beers in Joshua Tree in March during the day made me sick. The coors hydrated me back to health. haha

Looking forward to trying some of those Belgians and sours you fellas are talking about.

Respek! They're pricey and heavy but are the best in my opinion.

Literally! Hot day in the Sun? If you're drinking a heavy beer like a stout or a sour you aren't actually tasting it. Coors is for crap beer in the heat. You coming out Thursday?
