    Nothing yet, brand new!
    Ubuntu 9.0 or higher. I'm running 9.10 currently on my dual boot machine with no issues. I don't have any info about the 64 bit kernel. The new synaptic package mgr is much easier to use and Compiz Fusion is incl on the new desktop. Only issues I am having are with youtube videos running slow but this a known issue and is being resolved with Adobe flash.

    yeah I got Ubuntu running now just kinda wanna play around, I took this test. http://www.zegeniestudios.net/ldc/
    It sugessted Open Suse, Mandriva, Kubuntu and a couple others. I might play around. not really sure what I want.

    do you knw of any good photo editing apps for Linux..

    DigiKam, GNOME, F-Spot work fairly well. They all have the same feel similar to Apples photo app. I'm still learning on Linux myself Ryan. It's a journey to escape the MS world and explore. The Linux forums and Ubuntu forums are chock full of good info when you run into a snag.

    House buying is a pain in the rear end!! If you have picked the right house, it is so worth it!!

    Only thing is, if something breaks, you can't just call the landlord to come fix it :eek:

    But it is still a $$$$ pit as you keep finding things to fix/change/update :D
