Waiting on my 17 tacoma sr5 to hit the dealer.

It has cement gray, though my test ride was in a 16 that had the black or charcoal...

I'm not little worried the cement may be too light.

Staining problems with cement colored interior?

Which way did you guys go I. Interior color?

Of course seat covers are an option, but still...

I have MGM with black/charcoal interior. I chose it for exactly the reason you stated; my '07 would stain with water.
If seat covers become an option, it's a lot easier to match black than gray, IMO.

I had grey interior in my Pilot and the entire time I wished it was black.

I've never seen this before, do you know what trims offer the 'appearance package'?

2017 trd sport double cab. Have the black seats with orange dashboard and orange stiching on seats. Much prefer the black seats to the light grey. Thought I wouldn't care for the orange dash but it's growing on me. Might get it wrapped in carbon fiber If I end up not liking it.

I'm personally not a fan of the lighter interior. Black is so much nicer and clean looking when taken care of.

I recommend finding a light grey interior on the lot and making sure you like it. That's an expensive mistake to make.

I am waiting for my new '17 Taco to arrive with the black interior with orange accents.

I have the light gray color interior in my truck shown to the left. To be honest, I do not like the light gray interior, it gets dirty and shows any stains from spilled coffee, etc that get missed right away.

If possible, I would look for the darker color personally.

btw, I also had the same light gray interior in my '05 and had the same issues. Unfortunately, Toyota only started to offer the dark colors in 2016.

same here, my 2011 would get a couple drops on the seat when I opened the door
after some rain and it stained the seat permanently - First thought was wtf kind of
material stains instantly from a rain drop!

I hate the light gray. I prefer black but i have charcoal in my trd sport. If i were to order a truck i would go with the black/caramel with quicksand exterior.

My dream is to replace my black sport seats with the hickory brown leather in the limited. It'd look real good with black exterior.

I like the black seats but the odd choice of panels chosen for bright red or orange is really silly looking to me. Id fix that immediately.

Seems like some like it though. To each there own.

Looks like I'm way in the minority. I wish my interior was a lighter color - like Tan.

Me too! I thought I would like the black, but I think it makes the cab feel too much like a cave. I was hoping grey would be an option on the TRD. Black looks pretty cool don't get me wrong, but I'd prefer grey. And anything that makes the cab feel bigger would be great. It's all about perception. :)

We ordered 3 MGM SR5 and 1 silver SR5; all in cement gray interior. We're going to put Clazzio leather seat cover on them anyway. I like black interior too, but can't get black interior without the red panel. Red panel looks funny on MGM, IMO.

I have owned vehicles with both grey and black interior.

The black interior looks nicer, when CLEAN, but will show every dirt and dust speck. I found myself constantly vacuuming the floor mats because every piece of grass or dirt would totally show up on the mat. Also, if I keep the windows down the dash would have a film of dust on it right after driving that was totally noticeable.

The grey interior does not look as nice, but it hides the dirt and dust very good. Also, in summertime it is not as hot when you sit down.
