I would look closer at why you bought the truck, and what you are going to be using it for until you can afford to have both mods on your truck. What kind of lift are you talking here? And what kind of obstacles do you plan on driving through?

I say get the lift 1st as you'll want your new wheels and tire to be proportionate :)

If you don't plan on going bigger than 265s I think you should get wheels and tires first.

it will look funny with a lift and stock tires/wheels. i had a 3 inch lift for a while without tires and it looked really top heavy. save up and get both at the same time and it will come out a lot better!

I just have a lift, and I just got it on. After seeing the lift on, and being able to look more closely from far away, etc. I have decided that I might stay with 265 vs. 285. You wont have a way to know what it will look like if you do all at once. However, if I had the cash, I might have done them all at once.

5100 set to max, pending LSD and TRD CAI
I would do a smaller lift 2.5-3" + wheels and tires.

get the wheels/tires and some billys up front, it will only add a little extra cost and be well worth it.

you can't fit the same size tire w/o the lift as you can with it. So if you got the rims and tires first you would end up having to get new ones after the lift.
