Apparently the loop hole AAP is going to expose is since they pay X amount in benefits that count towards my "total compensation" that puts me over 50k and there prevents me from being paid OT.

Another GM had inquired about it a while back and that's the answer he got from HR.

also, keep asking questions, they may be trying to smoke screen you so youll stop asking questions and they can just ignore it as long as they can. get them to show you in paperwork where it states that benefits count towards what classification and show you exactly what benefits you have etc, etc. just stay informed and they cant pull a fast one on you.

 

The smallest jobs are most of the time the biggest PITA
