We went up and take the first right passed the lake, I believe its called Hawkins Mountain Mine. The trail with a pretty good hill climb towards the end of it

I believe 4x innovations sells theirs as a kit, could be wrong though..

Yeah we went up it pretty easily, only had to lock my rear. Some guy in an LR4 was getting it on with his GF when we showed up haha It basically ends right at the top but there is a trail that takes off to the absolute top which is where the mine is.

That hill did screw up Joes 4runner a few weeks ago though

I had a quarter tank of gas left in the truck so we did not push it. Next time I'd like to go up for a day run. I'm trying to figure out how to convert the pictures i took in RAW format to JPEG so I can post some.

You talking about the Gallagher run? I hit that hill in my truck, 31s 3" lift and open diffs and manual trans, and made it up on the second shot. First shot on it, I tried to put it in third gear too late, then had to shift back down to second while climbing and lost too much speed. I wasn't sure I would make it through the ruts but I did.

Yeah speed gets you through a lot, I took it easy so I wouldn't tear it up anymore than it already is. Before I had lockers I did it once quickly and made it up

I'm glad I opted out. Open diffs plus all that weight in the back...... I'd give it a shot if I was by myself with no gear.

That's exactly how I ran, nothing in the bed.

I had about 800lb in the bed and my wife and 3 kids with me so the truck was a little heavy.

On a different note, does anyone have an extra set of AAL's laying around? Just got the FOX 2.5 Coil overs, rebuilding them now and wanted to see if someone had an extra set of AAL before i bought new.
