That's the thing, I have no patience for this kind of stuff. I'm just happy I finally have my truck back and it's working the way it should have been (although after I got it back from Toyota now all of the sudden my cruise control doesn't work  I swear to christ it never ends...) but with this amount of money on the line, I don't think I could respect myself ever again if I didn't at least make an attempt at getting reimbursed for some of it.

If this were my mother we were talking about, she'd start world war 3 over this. I should get her involved, lol.

I'm cursed with the recovering catholic guilt...where everything bad that happens is somehow at least partially my fault, lol.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I'll try to remember to bring it up at the Bruery tonight. I watch a lot of People's Court (lame but... yeh lol) you actually learn a lot about how to best throw a case into small claims. Also what you're "due" etc.

Your local and in the area, I'm pretty ready to sell my softopper-- I didn't use it nearly as much as I thought I would, I only had it one for one camping trip.

Thanks man! When you're ready, let me know. I might need a month or so to recoup from this clutch fiasco but I'm definitely interested

No problem on waiting, its just sitting in the garage folded up, the railing is still installed on the truck but in good shape.

Not really scripted but the idiots certainly act stuff up for the camera. Her advice is quite sound, though, as far as how it works, party responsibility, legal/contract rights, recourse, etc.

When I was doing research before I got mine I read that 2nd Gen ext. Cab (6ft) softoppers fit 1st gen ext. Cab as well. I know the 2nd Gen beds are a litttle wider but the few 1st Gen guys that had them on there rigs said it's not a issue at all. You just bring the aluminum frame in a little bit when you clamp it down. Like Greg stated I always see then on CL . I got lucky and found a killer deal for one and ended up getting it for $100.

Judge Judy is a different show. Her show is ridiculous as fuck, too.

People's Court is different. Marilyn Milian is not a judge, she's retired. She's also a former prosecutor. The people are real, they fly out on their own money, they're paid from a fund depending on what the case was worth. No one loses money they just get less.

Asking for some knowledge here....so I just replaced my terminals with heavy duty marine connections. I was reading up on what to "seal" them with. It got kinda confusing. So the info I saw says that dielectric grease is not a conductor.

It is specifically formulated to lubricate and protect electrical connections from corrosion that will ultimately cause higher contact resistance. I know a lot of guys run this stuff Though with good results. Also that it should only be applied to the exterior of the battery terminal for the purpose that it's is not a conductor. Are these "mechanics " on the interwebs trippin? Or is there some truth to this?

Edit* added a video of the what I'm talking about.

You all watch too much day time TV. haha. I can't stand day time TV. All it is are commercials praying on the unemployed, disabled, and elderly. On every channel they're trying to get in my pocket for annuity payments, payday advance, shitty trade schools, auto accident lawsuits, and gossip. All those court tv shows are are Jerry Springer with a robe on. The devil I tell ya! The DEVIL! haha

We live in a spoiled, first world age of Netflix, Amazon Prime, and DVR. Why in the wide world is anyone watching network television?
