Hi. As far as I know, you only notice the green backlit when it gets dark outside, otherwise during the day all you can see is white buttons with green compass that could be turned off. As I have saved it on my Ebay, the seller used to have Homelink mirrors with blue backlits, but it is long gone.
As I could see, he/she has one that doesn't have backlit at all, if you are interested.

I got one without backlighted buttons for that reason. The green compass won't bother me. The green buttons will. I figured the limiteds have green backlighting?

It's either a bad sensor or the weather. I had a brand new scion that did that from the get go.

To me the backlit buttons is a luxury, they could be useful when it is dark outside, also you won't notice the green backlit during the day. I like my mirror with green backlit buttons.
I like my truck so much that I feel like I have to buy something for it each week! Not good for the wallet and bank account :)

I hope GulfCoastDan doesn't mind me answering your question. Those are 20" Limited 4Runner wheels. Actually he mentioned that he got the replicas, means they are not OEM. You could search Craigslist in your area, and Ebay as well if you want to have them. I bought all 4 OEM brand new tire and wheels from a 14 Limited 4Runner for my 14 SR5 4Runner on Craigslsit for almost $1400. Good luck!

Had my Avid Offroad frame mounted bolt-on sliders installed yesterday. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality slider.

Yes, if you contact them directly they will make exceptions for special order frame mounted bolt-on sliders.

Thanks, They look great on your truck . I really do not need rock protection as much as door ding protection and a step for a 5'2" wife with a size 6 foot. I also do not want them mounted to the body and I do not want to pay 7 or 8 hundred with shipping .
They look like they will work for me on all levels.

Right on. I can't speak to what the shipping would cost. Avid is located in AZ so I was able to pick them up locally.
