I have to replace mine soon too.... not sure if you wheel your rig much, but buying budget half shafts will likely cause you headache within a short time. A lot of members on here have recommended CVJ
Gotcha!! I've got OME all round too, great choice!

Seems easier and faster to just replace entire unit then keep old as spares after rebooting..... Got to go through same axle removal process, then some, to replace boots right ???

Really dig that you ungraded your fender flares...subtle, but looks way better then the thin chrome BS

Yes, but even if your OEM axles have 200K on them they're still better quality than the new parts store ones. Those are junk.

If you don't want to deal with rebooting right away, look for some OEM takeoff on here or ebay or something, and then reboot your current ones to keep as spares.

Went with heavy duty and left the stack of leaf springs alone as the camper stays on all the time. Had to modify the right leaf slightly to clear

Yeah I was pleased with those too. Not too much but far better then the chrome stuff that was on it.

I'm not that faithful here but I am swapping to "Royal Purple" 75-90W in all the transfer, trannie and diffs. I have used prolong oil additive since 50k miles at every oil change.

Was out in the woods for a one day get away on Tuesday and while the old guys napped I worked on the truck. Fixed the vibration buzz I was hearing a certain RPM's with a bit of copper wire and my leatherman. It was a heat shield on the exhaust near the front axle.

Then got this rubber gasket to sit back down where it should with some black silicone and some sticks holding it in place while it dried. I knew I would get to it eventually if I just left it in the truck.

^^^Yeah, what Brett said. Late to the response :cookiemonster:.

Rebooting truly isn't that bad. I've done both of mine and they have held up great. Picked up stronger, high angle boots from SDHQ: http://store.sdhqoffroad.com/tacomacvbootkits.aspx
The first axle was a pain in the ass because it was my first time doing the job, second one was a breeze.

Thanx man !!! As for the camper well take a look at Four Wheel campers. They don't make the "Eagle" any more it is called a "Fleet". Mine can be purchased though.....:spy::threadjacked:

so, Last sunday I ordered a 4' antenna and coax cable from right channel radios. The tracking number apparently shows it was delivered last thursday. I was home all week last week and I even waited every day expecting the package, but I never got it, I contacted right channel radios and they said they'd contact usps and possibly send another order if I didnt get it. My neighbors would've definitely given it to me if they had it, Im not sure what coulda happened. anyone ever have something like this happen? Should I ask the post office if they have it or something? I can't imagine a 4' box would be lost so easily lol

Good thing you ordered from them, I've heard nothing but the best in regards to their customer service. I got a base load whip antenna from them and it came through the USPS, I had to pick it up from the large parcel window cause like you said it's tall! Its worth checking with them for sure, I thought mine was coming to my house until I checked

Guy I wheel with broke his antenna bought from them, not even covered under warranty, and they sent him a new one right away
