ORR package?

I have finally gave up my own search and decided to join your forum to ask this question. I have a 2001 Tacoma 4X4, regular cab, with the 2.7L and on the tailgate it has the letters ORR. I have not seen this on any other trucks that I have been around and I cannot find anything via search. Can anyone help with this?

 

Are you or your truck from Arkansas? A quick Google search revealed that there's an "Orr Toyota" dealership in Arkansas, maybe it's just part of what they do to their cars/trucks on the lot.

 

A picture would help in identification as well. As far as I know, there has never been any ORR badging on Tacomas (at least from the factory). In our model years, there was an OF package (which is the TRD Off Road package) but the "badging" for that was a TRD Off-Road sticker on the side of the bed.

 

I am in MO but I couldn't tell you where the truck came from. I can take a picture and post it later. That dealership is the only thing that I found but the letters are not a sticker...they are like aluminum letters almost like the Tacoma trim. Thanks for the quick responses.

Sounds like a dealer tag to me.

 

Yeah it sounds like that is what it will turn out to be.

 

If you have the original Monroney sticker, it will tell you the original dealership
