They charged me $100. I removed the grill for the shop.

I was thinking about getting the Lower Bumper insert done as well as the fender flares and the Rear Bumper Caps. Not sure if I want to do all those LineX or just Dip them. At least if I Dip them, I could do it myself and peel it if I don't like it.

It only took the shop an hour to get it done. Drove in chrome, waited an hour, drove out chromeless!

I want the lower bumper insert done because its flemsy as hell stock and mines already matte black so there wont be an obvious appearance change. Id like to epoxy the tag bracket to it first and smooth it so it all appears to be one piece.

I wish a snorkel without cutting the fender was possible.

All you'd have to do is drill a weep hole in the air box and a small shield

I would think if you were in deep enough water to need a snorkel, the hood scoop would be close to being underwater.

I never said anything about using the hood scoop as a snorkel. I just want a functional hood scoop

Oops. We were on the topic of snorkels and I didnt read it well enough. Making the hood scoop functional wouldnt take THAT much work.

Way I see you it you'd have to fabricate a fiberglass box on the hood as well as mounted to the engine with weatherproofing so that when the hood closes, the two boxes come together to form a seal and then piping to the OE airbox.

With the right box it could be bolted to the top of the engine and just seal against the bottom side of the hood. Go look at how the functional scoops on the Dodge Challenger are setup. I dont have a hood scoop or id try it.
