    enough to have fun

Haha I like them for the price, and that when I build my truck up and wheel more I don't have to worry about scratching or gouging them :)

I want to report that after nearly a week, my Tacoma continues to shift smoothly (more so than before the Crom flush)! Thank you again!! Today I added a bottle of Techron, as it had been a while since last time, to help keep injectors clean.

Does anyone have an opinion of oil additives, like STP? I don't have any leaks (do any Toyotas leak?) and they (the oil additives) all seem to say "stops oil leaks" along with the other benefits. I am just wanting to baby my truck as it has been so good for the past 6-7 years and 88,600 miles.

I would opt out not putting that stuff (STP or any oil additives) in your truck. If you're truck is not leaking and you use quality oil, you should be fine. I'd probably get heat for saying this but I like to use Amsoil on my truck and cars. It has proven itself when i did an engine rebuild on my 2zz engine. Engine builder was impressed and wouldnt have thought i beat the shit out of the 2zz engine every weekend. Anyways as for fuel additive, I like techron but i prefer Amsoil P.I.

I hate the steelies. They throw wheel weights all the time and they can warp if you sneeze at them.

But they're prefect for anyone who needs a winter set. Tires don't have enough tread or i would

how do you like the aal? I'm looking at them in another tab on my browser as I type. I wanted to know why they're so much cheaper than all the other options, ride quality, carry capacity... any feedback would be great

Thank you... I have NEVER had an engine problem with any of my Tacomas, and there was never a drop of oil out of them, either. I just wanted to do something nice for it, like giving it a treat.

Speaking of oil additives... I remember when a mechanic friend suddenly stopped using Slick 50 (is that product still sold?)... It contains (or used to) Teflon particles that purportedly remain in suspension (so as to not settle on the bottom of the oil pan or clog anything). Well, he suddenly noticed the bottle instructions and had an eye-opening revelation: SHAKE BEFORE USE!

    Started doing my CMC.

Holy FUCK that is some tough steel. Took me an hour and a half to do one side with a 3" air angle grinder. It was mostly just the awkward angle because doing the bottom was a lot easier.

Currently at discount tire getting my 285s mounted up, then I'll chop the other side tomorrow and get plates welded in next week.

idk about load capacity but can't believe it's not greatly improved. it rides great at low speed driving through town you may notice some bumps a little more but by no means rough. on highway or even backroads at speed the ride is much better. as far as them being cheaper it's not a full leaf pack your simply adding to the factory springs. i got the wheelers 3 leaf progressive aal $156 as far as differences between it and any other brands of 3 leafs i can't really tell you. off road it absorbs obstices better and flexes much better than a stock setup or a stock setup with lift block which is wht i had. so far it seems to work perform better all the way around hope this helps plus it gave me 2 1/2 to 3" of lift in the rear
