    The plastic bases for the mirror are hollow, and I filled it in with a rubber/silicone sealant to prevent water from entering. Apparently that crap chemically reacted with the paint/clear coat. :(

    Yes or no? It's got a great fit and now I can keep from my hats sipping off my dash. Just got it out of the box and threw it up there. Needs to be at straightened out obviously.
