Well I had a long long day. After working a 12 hr shift and not sleeping the night before, I had a buddy of mine drive me 200 miles one way. Bought it from a coonass in the sticks. Thats redundant btw.

Looked like it hadnt been washed in a couple years as it sat fading under some trees in the backyard. It was his wifes truck who bought a new tundra. so this one was driven only once every week or so for at least the last couple months.

99,000 with cobwebs in the bed.

the good news, nothing was ever towed with it since they had a 4x4 for that. inside is almost mint. 9 of 10. exterior no dings really but a decent scratch on the drivers side fender. id give it a 6 of 10 due to the faded paint.

*I did a half ass wax today which revealed a much brighter blue than was showing before. Bumped it up to about an 8 of 10. Need to try and buff out the somewhat deep scratch on the fender.

more good news is he put a leveling kit, weather guard mats and some factory nerf bars and some oversized 18" wheels/tires on it.

bad news is it looks like its leaning front to back some. Ill have to take some new pics later but heres a few prior to washing.

Didnt realize how much this color stands out. I definitely like it more in person.

The good news is, flares are a cheap pop off pop on replacement.

I didnt get a great deal I dont think but I got a good deal. He was asking 18,600 and I got it for 17k. I almost didnt get it at all bc TTL was 10.9% which was about $1800 which I felt was a bit much. Luckily his friend was the title person and we agreed to be cousins and they did an act of donation. So I paid $124 instead.

In that respect maybe I did get a decent deal.

And good luck with the truck, I always liked that blue. A little polishing will bring that to a nice shine

Congratulations on your purchase. Your color is called Speedway Blue. I have a 2008 version, but mine is the Access cab Pre-runner OR. Welcome to the group.

also, i hate hate the blood orange color of the dash - at night. its like someone was murdered in my cab. ill have to change them to blue or white i suppose. also these all terrain 18" look good but are not good for gas mileage. but they also keep me from speeding.

I found a few threads but has anyone changed their dash orange to another color?
