But its atleast in the bowl and not in the engine... I learned how precleaners work in school with the CG... So it would probably have to make a hell of a turn in order to makes its way to the engine intake... Where did you get yours from? Ill probably run the regular head in the summer and precleaner in winter

I've seen the that precleaner work so well first hand I picked one up myself. Plan to use it on an upcoming Canada trip. Should work great on 2-3 days of dirt roads.

Picked mine up on Amazon. 7inch bowl. They make a 10" but I read unless you have a big motor or forced induction sick with the 7". The air being drawn in by the motor is what makes it work

Is there a certain size? Depending on the price I might just buy it now before I get the snorkel lol

Ok. Its just a pre cleaner with a 3" opening correct?

@Wheelspinner do either of you notice a difference in restriction of air flow with the precleaner or?

Well I look forward to some feedback! :)

When you purchase it does it have an actual filter in there that is replaceable or washabke or is it just he bowl? I only know about oiled prefilters really... The snorkel world is different lol

No difference in airflow that I notice. And no there is no actual filter or moving parts. There are find in the bottom that create a vortex. This spins the air. The heavy particles are thrown to the outside and the engine sucks clean air from the center

Gotcha. Thanks Steve. The snorkel is probably going to be one of my favorite mods because I honestly like the look haha.

I was going to buy one next month but Mojo just decided he wanted my money instead of a website lol. But im glad because if I did buy one new I wouldn't have really learned all this stuff about snorkels just now haha.

    Airflow is silly and expensive.

Personally I prefer the look of the Airflow. Does not go as far forward on the fender as Safari, and has the extra bend before it goes up the pillar. But aesthetics are very personal and differ widely

The safari... You can get the safari one that everyone else has that "restricts the flow" for the same price as that air flow GB... I bet you through together a small safari gb and itd be cheaper than what im paying Mojo for his used one.

This is true... Idk I like the look of the safari snorkels lol... To each their own... The airflow is just rather large for my liking... Like I installed the awning today but I may not run it all the time especially when wheeling in tight trails because its big and sticks past the roof... The safari is toght to the truck.
