    Heh

There's a PSA in Dry Rock that asks attendees to please not make obscene gestures at the primates.

FFS, we just got told to not taunt the dynamite moneys. :headbang:

You need at least 20 to take over the space park and then I'd you get all 35 you get a new power armor

    Nope, it was 20 originally.
I am right now level 15, I think.
Still farting around in the capital wasteland, getting skill books, bobbleheads and the best gear

I have my Sneak around 95, Repair 90. Getting Small Guns/Lockpick/Science up.
I forget if the skills keep helping once you get above 100 or not...

I am also working on some unarmed, I will craft some deathclaw gauntlets.

I totally blew off virtually all the crafted/worktable/blueprint items when I originally played Fallout3.
There is some nice stuff here.
I was using a shishkebab for a while, now using a power fist. Its a must for stupid animal life you dont want to waste ammo on.
I didnt build the poison dart crossbow thing that reduces enemy movement speed.

    I worked on Luck equipment.
I have the Lucky Shades, 3 Dog's Headband and Ranger Armor for +3 total. I am going for the Magic 8 Ball next (Big Town Quest) (+1)

I forgot how scope limited this game is. Its only the Sniper Rifles or the Scoped 44 revolver.
Everything else is iron sights with just a touch of magnification.
As it is, stuff like Ol Painless (Named .32 rifle) is a pretty nice plinker, and for close quarters the Xianglong Rifle (Named AK) is pretty nice also.

I have been avoiding the main storyline, I just did the Wasteland Survival Guide.
I havent been to Tenpenny tower yet.

Since I didnt do Waters of Life, no Brotherhood yet. So even though I have scavenged and repaired power armor, I am not trained in how to use it.

The Gauss Rifle in FO3 and the YCS/186 in FO:NV were my go to guns.

Yup, FO3 was 20 and 30 with Broken Steel add-on. New Vegas was 30 and 50 with add-ons. Unless you console command.

Its hard to believe but yeah. And at 20 you got the perk (Grim Reaper??) that reset all your action points on a VATS kill, so it was pretty uber powered at that level. Throw in a couple Action Boys and it was ridiculous what you could do at that level with the right weapons for your build.

Ah yeah it's coming back to me. Cause even then you can only get a perk every 2 levels not every time you level up.

OK, so I got all 35 of those fucking Star Cores and viola...the Quantum Power Armor

As a comparison, here's the 'stock' X-01 torso that I modded up via crafting to Mark VI
    [IMG]

Here's the 'stock' Mark V Quantum armor stats
    [IMG]

And here's the Quantum torso, modded to Mark VI with the same addons
    [IMG]

So, same DMG stats. The Quantum paint job has a little lower piece health than the Titanium I generally use, but I think the Action Point refresh bonus is a big plus, if you stomp around jet-packing around like a hyperactive 6-year-old (and this is me, most of the time)

Damn I just found the last one a few mins ago but been trying to find all the hidden cappys so I haven't gotten the suit yet.
I'm pissed I can't ride the rides in the kiddie park, they keep hurting me and the nuka racers have killed me a few times

@Xaks so did you follow Shank or not to beat the main story? I did not.

    I did

I gave each faction one park to keep it even at first, then gave the last 'odd' numbered one to the Operators....because money

I ran some side missions and get a feel for each side. I found the Pack to be nuts, but with usable behavioral triggers to use. The Disciples just pissed me off.

They....uhhh...aren't a problem any more. Anywhere.

But also I gave the 3 settlements in the Commonwealth to the Operators. I took Kingston Lighthouse and Mucklurk Construction Site specifically to use as bandit camps, so I only needed to "buy out" Croup Manor and pay Nordhagen to supply us. I've done zero Commonwealth killing

I did the opposite so I never did any side missions for them. I plan to replay soon and do as you did. I just got all the hidden cappys

Pretty sure I found the only port-a-diner in the entire game that actually picks up the piece of pie and allows you to eat it

I got it in the junkyard barn too. Have 10 luck though

It is my second successful perfectly preserved pie. I get the first on like my second or third playthrough...with drugs and clothes I had cranked my effective luck to 16 and it took 4 tries!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
All of them have a chance to give it. There was a dude on reddit that had multiple from different locations.

Yep, but I think they've tweaked the chances and some other things. They're easier to get now than they were at release
