At our age ..................who cares

Water is up on the wall , canal side and all 8 of our boat slips are under water but with low tide that will dissipate

Best thing is and the sad truth is our North Florida folks will be taking the brunt of this mess

Looks like most of the storm is going below us with some of the rains bands coming into our area. Mid to lower state is a different story.

We sure did! Heavy wind and rain!! Lost some banana trees and palm fronds are down everywhere. We're safe and I'll be reporting to work soon. Thanks! Everyone have a Great Day!

 

Not a good day to get out of my neighborhood. Aborted and will work from home today

Drivers meeting right now. I can stay away from that. Lol

Starting to prep the car. Will fire it off in about an hour.
So far weather looks just about perfect for the weekend.

Culverts are full and running like a river, but the house is up high. The backyard is probably a lake. I will post some pics when it stops raining and I can walk the yard (lake)

 

Morning all, finally slept in to 0500 this am, yea!

Good idea not to drive through that George, you never know how deep or fast it is until you are on TV being rescued, then we make fun of you.

Too late, I drove through that and other flooded streets twice. It was the highway that scared me. Big rigs driving crazy, high winds and blinding rain. My office is close to Tampa Bay and my boss told me to turn around. I was about halfway there, but glad to come home.

 

55 degrees cool here this morning! I'm down with THAT! Temps back up to near normal (low 90's) by days end. Local off road park is having a swap meet tomorrow. I may throw a load of stuff in the truck and make my way up there. Maybe not. May cut grass. Maybe not. I have to work Sunday and Monday, so Saturday is my "3-day weekend". Gonna do what I feel like and no more. No rain in the forecast.
