Granted my truck is now 7'6 to the too of the tent roughly so height is a factor buy width is also a factor... Our trucks are already wider than a jeep or first gen

QUESTIONS FOR GUN OWNERS... What kind of safes do you have for your guns? I was looking at getting the monster vault underbed/truck mounted drawer safe for my home... Fits under the bed snuggly and Ill be able to access a weapon in home defense rather quickly. Any other suggestions? The one I found is 650 plus 5% off for military and free shipping to my house.

Mine just sits in a drawer. Combination and biometric safes take time to open...

I have a regular safe for everything else and when I go out if the gun isn't on me it's on the safe.

Gotcha. Im going to be getting my carry permit for PA and a carry permit for Philly. The GF lives in northwest Philly and I have to drive right through some nasty areas to get to her place... Itll just suck putting my shit in a case for 3 miles and then taking it out and loading it lol.

For in the house when I am home the gun will be out... But like you said when not home its in the safe.

The bed won't need to be lifted! The safe will slide right under and fit perfectly...

What about moving it to the bed and keep the awning at roof rack leg height. (Just be sure to mount it to the side that the rtt doesn't flip open:rolleyes:)

You are not eligible for a PA conceal carry if you live in NJ. Also you plan on illegally transporting your gun in and out of NJ.

Airflow isn't my favorite, but honestly idc I'm going to like it either way, and nobody will be paying much attention to my snorkel, right @HolyHandGrenade ?
