Is anyone here from Norwood or the surrounding towns? I saw 8+ Tacomas today around town including a sick ass black baja.

In MA, it's 2" over factory, per Chapter 90, Section 7P.

    https://malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleXIV/Chapter90/Section7P

What's interesting is they include tires into the lift calculation. So technically basically any lift + 265/75-16 or 265/70-17 and you're over. You'd really have to cross a LEO to have a mild lift screamed at though. I never had any issues with mine, even with my accident.

The bigger issue in MA is altered exhaust (only on import performance cars, or so it seems) and lowering. A good friend got an enormous ticket back in 2002 for being lowered and having loud exhaust. I had always assumed my STi would get me into trouble.

I wish MA would crack down on loud motorcycles. I live on the corner of a street that's a straightaway and every Harley owner seems to need to go WOT past my house. It's painful and sounds awful. Either that or it's sit at the corner blasting some awful classic rock / country song on heir radio while just blipping the throttle over and over and over and over /personalopinionpleasedontkillme

I thought thats pretty much the life purpose of Harley's: to annoy and scare everyone who doesn't own one :notsure:

Cars and bikes zip up my street after they turn off the main road. Besides your reason, goddamn unsafe at that speed.

I can only hope some day the aliens zap one of them.

I used to sit outside with a Lidar gun and clock people doing 65 on my street with is a 25mph road... For a while there was a rounded 2x4 permanently bolted to the middle of the street.... Who knows how it got there...

What I wouldn't give for stop sticks like police have. Or that my "neighbors" across the street abduct these fuckers and give them a royal anal probe.

Your lift doesn't meet MA regulations? :D

Meh, never scared, more annoyed. Where I live, at least your average owner is an investment banker thinking he's in Easy Rider.

A 2" lift doesn't look much higher than factory on our trucks, so I don't think you have anything to worry about. Show up with a 6" drop bracket lift on 315s at a picky station and see what happens.

Your street is just like mine in that you can turn off 106 and immediately go WOT. Admittedly on my street there is a 1/4 mi stretch between residential and residential where you can get to the top of 3rd and still have plenty of time to be back down to 25 MPH before you hit houses, but I haven't done that since probably the second week I moved in.

    Morning all.

They're trying to keep their POS from stalling.

Honestly I think the reason that they ride WOT throttle everywhere is because they're trying to get away from the Harley girls.

I mean, when even the women look like this...

You can buy stop sticks legally, no problem! Just do not get caught using them!

Any of you guys running cheap LED fog or flood lights that you like? Looking for a cheap set to mount as backup lights on the trailer. Lots of cheap options out there, I don't want to buy garbage though so if anyone has some that they like and are working well, please let me know.

I bought the eyourlife light bar of Amazon and have it mounted in the bumper of the tundra. Seems to be holding up pretty well and throws a ton of light.

Superbrightleds.com is where I get my pods and stuff from. They are currently running ten percent off as well.

I'll probably be ordering a few from TheRetrofitSource through my retrofitter. I have this crazy custom roof rack and 360 degree lighting concept running through my brain right now.......
But it'll change in a week when I'm oversea's and staring at H1's and Strykers...
