well, until I'm out of dad's house (hopefully next year), I don't have spare space for it. I guess I could just run it on the truck till I move. I would just like to be able to shed weight when it's not serving a purpose (RTT, skids, etc.) so I need space for storage. I want a shop...haha

You can leave on on 24/7 a lot of people do and a new cover is only around $150 which isn't really a lot if you get a few years of outside storage out of it.

I will say that having a RTT will make the trip a whole hell of a lot better so comfortable and gets you off the ground. Would also make breaking down camp much faster each morning to go wheeling. I had my tent totally stored in about 5 minutes.

Yeah I definitely want one, just a matter of when and what haha. It's low on the priority list. My buddy Matt is already informed I want my bumpers in the next couple months or so.

Just spoke to my HOA and I have to pay them $175 to get a permit to have a bed rack on my truck. I'm calling my realtor and putting this place on the market.

Will be listed on Monday. I bought this place before there was an HOA and it has gotten so ridiculous. It's full of Yankees that think people with a truck are white trash.

I have Allpro bed bars that came off of my '13. I just have to mod them to fit the '16.

I like to see a guy take a stand, just for a truck haha. I'd be doing the same. Plan to move out next year and REFUSE to live where an HOA is at.

Just talked to the HOA manager and asked her to show me in the by-laws where it says I can't have a bed rack. She couldn't find anything. The by-laws only state that service vehicles are required to obtain a permit to be parked on property overnight. She tried to tell me that a pickup is considered a service vehicle. She now stands corrected, offended, belittled, and berated.

You should check the by-laws about big flashy wheels.

@Trident904, I guess I would be ran out of your neighborhood. I have my tacoma with a bed rack, my old Isuzu park on the side of my house in front of my side yard gate, and my 5'x8' enclosed trailer with RTT on top sitting in the driveway.
My next place will hopefully have a big garage or shop.

I'm seriously considering just building a metal building and making the upper part a living space so I can have a shop downstairs.

I would live out of my RTT before ever owning a home with a HOA clause. F that with the biggest F there is.
