14728311165522018974268.jpg just loaded it up for the trip home. Sucks to have to cut it a couple days short, but the last couple days aren't going to be fun anyway with the storm coming in.

    Thank you.
As I mentioned, I was just wanting to give my truck a treat (like how you reward a pet) and STP has always been well respected, but along with the oil boosting it also adds that it can stop leaks. We Toyotas don't leak, but is there anything good to add to the oil that isn't made to also stop leaks?

I know I am pushing at this, but want it to be clear that the truck is great, the oil is still clean (at 3,000 miles now since last oil change), and it is changed at the dealership in Carlsbad. As all three of my Tacomas have always been the past 16 years.

I won't add anything that is a risk or that won't improve the gas mileage... which is probably my only complaint (yes, it is a truck). What used to be 16 mpg for daily use is now 14 mpg, for some time... and even after new spark plugs, new diff oil, new ATF, new air filter, no change yet. Although most of these tune up items were performed recently, so maybe the computer takes its time to adjust? I am looking forward to driving near 2,000 miles in Baja soon because Mexican gasoline contains NO ethanol, and that has always added 1-2 mpg to my mileage (even when loaded for camping).

2nd side chopped, had to take a break for a shower. My arm is lit up from the inferno of sparks. Had safety glasses on, forgot about long sleaves.

So glad @EatSleepTacos goaded me on to stick with 285/70's!

Anyone know if I'll run into issues onthe rear at stock height? Have to go get some C clamps to do the AAL and swap rear shocks

Done, test drive to check for normal driving rubs and a highway speed to check the balance on the tires.

I'll post some pictures in a bit, absolutely stoked!

Totally agree, that white color match actually looks pretty slick. That or gunmetal. Blacked out is overplayed.

Ugh, can't even get out the driveway. Have to flatten the pinch weld, and I have no choice but to go higher on my lift. Rubbing on the fender as well.

Thinking about just flattening the pinch weld and cutting the fender. I don't have a coil compressor or I'd just get it all done now.

I have to admit, I am too. I would never have had the guts to try it, but on a white truck, I think they look a lot better than the wheels painted black. I have a black truck, and thought about painting my steelies back, but saved up my pennies and bought a set of TRD OR wheels instead.

    Fuck Toyota.

Seriously, how many different style clips do they need? Stupid fender liner specialty clips.

About to throw a hammer through the damn windshield
