    Why does the tow package suck for offroad?

    correct me if im wrong but does the tow package only consist of a towing hitch, cooling, connector pins on our tacomas?
    when I bought my truck it came with the tow package but dont really have much knowledge on the diffrence since i dont plan to do any towing in the near future.

    I was making an assumption the tow package had a stiffer overload spring from the standard non-tow package versions, but I havent been able to find any particulars out.
