    Nice, What department? I was with J1 and J8 for a bit before I left. I'll be heading back there when I get home. I live like 5 mins from there.

    In my youth, I was lucky to have pretty good experiences with cops. Was pulled over quite a few times with my buddies in the car. One white guy, one black guy. Turned off the car, rolled down the window, and put both hands on the wheel at 11 & 1 o'clock. Conversation usually went, "Nice Scout! (1965 Scout 80) Your tail light is out." Then we'd talk about electrical problems with old cars...
    I'm Filipino, but have been suspected of being Inuit, half Japanese, 1/2 Mexican, 1/2 Chinese... Don't know what's up with the 1/2's... I've experienced some racist looks, especially on a trip through Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri with my white wife and her grandparents. They probably though I was their driver though... Met a lot of good people too. Way more good than bad, but you can't forget those hard looks. Us Asians sometimes get the racist vibes other people of color get, but without all the street cred. What a gyp.

    Sorry if I offended any gypsies.

    The Bay Area, and most highly populated areas of California, are very accepting of other races. It sometimes feels like a bubble. Hopefully many parts of the country will be more like the Bay Area by the time my kids are adults, but without all the traffic and Asian drivers. ;)

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Would have made it with 2" more clearance and 35's... or I could have just taken the same line I took last time instead of listening to the jean shorts guy. To his credit, he helped get everyone else up the waterfall... except for that Asian driver who was too busy tuning his air freshener.

    :rofl:

    I tried. Everyone heard a loud popping sound and thought I snapped something. My tires kept slipping off the rock to the left. Turns out the popping was my e-brake sticking then releasing. I was using it to start on the hill cause I can't heel toe. Found out I was also running at 13 psi when airing up the next day. Too low for D-rated pizza cutters.
    If I can't make it next year, with new tires, moar lift, and re-geared, then I'll accept the reason is operator error.
