    Im trained in federal law enforcement so its a bit different for me... Granted my jurisdiction ends when I take my uniform off but I still use tools Ive learned in every day life... The racking of a shotgun is an international warning sign and can be used to deter a threat... Idk about you but if I heard that id probably freeze like a deer in headlights... By the time im racking that round im alread on target and ready to shoot.

    If you're on target without a round in the chamber, that means there is a chance that they're on target with a round in the chamber.

    You can't rack in a round and pull a trigger faster than they can pull the trigger.

    Just my 2cents.

    Nope. But I have the element of surprise on my side. If they bust in the house with a truck in the driveway that has hunting stickers on it they are already asking for trouble. If I come home and they are already in the house... Well then Ill be loading the PDW and defending myself with the element of surprise still on my side
