That's awesome. Can't wait to have enough saved for skid plates and bumper.

I checked out the site and all the bumpers are weld yourself kits. I wish I had welding skills cus those kits were cheap. Good looking out though.

Yeah that's pretty much it. Gonna go with an angle grinder. Trying learn the basics of welding.

I have a small air cut off wheel if you want to try that might be easier than angle grinder

Good call. That might be the way to go.

    I have no business being around a plasma cutter. I can't even weld...yet :)

Cut off wheels and angle grinders are way more dangerous in my opinion, I've met several people who lost their front teeth and lots of skin from a wheel that grenaded

Always wear protection when grinding especially if she's dirty.

If you horse them around they will go off like no tomorrow. But plasma's don't grow on trees. unless you have a well stocked shop most people don't have access.

Have a great weekend and be safe...

I guess I assumed he was using the fully stocked shop. Maybe they don't have them there?
Depending on the thickness and angles you need to cut you could try a sawzall with quality blade.
Probably a good combination of easy and not too dangerous.

But I have a 1st gen so I'm not familiar with the specifics of what you need to do.

I'm not sure yet. I gotta call Gearhead garage to see if they have a welder.
