Have them explain how the lift effected the throw out bearing. Keep pushing and open a case with Toyota Corporate.

I don't see how a lift will cause a throw out bearing to go bad, lol. That doesn't make sense to me.

When my throwout bearing started to go bad, it chirped like my truck was full of crickets whenever I was coasting in gear. Applying throttle or pressing the clutch pedal would make it go silent, is that how your's is?

You can control the colors and switch them to normal, at least if it's the setup I'm familiar with.

Mine has gotten to the point where it squeaks all the time unless I push clutch in and the red lights change colors to whatever color I want flash go with music etc the kit is from led concepts and I've worked on vehicles all my life and can't figure out how the lift caused this problem especially since I only have a 1" block in the rear but thank you all for the feedback like I said any info is better than none and is all appreciated

That is correct "It Can't". You need to not let them get away with the false claim that it did. Have them explain to you how the lift effected the throw out bearing. God I would love to hear them explain it.

They are counting on you not pressing the issue. Bring up the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. When you escalate this up through the service manager and general manager of the dealership. Be nice, but let them know you are not going to go away.

I've heard that some throwout bearings will squeal when going bad, mine was a chirper though. Could also be a possible bad pilot bearing, or cracked flywheel. All part of the clutch assembly though and will require the transmission to be dropped in order to access and replace the culprit. So you might as well just throw a whole new clutch in while you're at it, if you only replace the throwout bearing you're paying hundreds of dollars in labor just to replace a $20 part.

Also, I have a 60k warranty on my truck and my throwout bearing went bad at 30k. The warranty provider wouldn't cover the bearing because it's a normal 'wear and tear' item (part of the clutch), even though I argued that it shouldn't go bad at 30k...they should last at LEAST 90k. They wouldn't have it though, had to pay for it out of pocket.

The aftermarket lift has no effect on the throw out bearing.

The Magnuson–Moss warranty act says they have to show a correlation between the failure of the throw out bearing and the lift.
