    I put down a TPM (Thermo plastic Membrane ) Roof on my house with vaulted ceilings.
    No attic.
    The decking is good then, peel & stick, then a 1" dense foam insulation, then the white "swimming pool liner" as The roofing material.
    Is the same foundation as a metal "steel roof"
    Foote, you should have the same under the steel panels.

    I also have a Mitsubishi Split System heat pump...
    They are condenser / air handler and duct work.
