Just a quick rant, but last night, someone stole a dirty old blanket from the bed of my truck.

I used this dirty blanket to cover my bed and protect it from hard scratches when loading equipment, etc..

I could care less about the blanket, but it's the principle of it all.. And to think, i thought my truck would be safe in the city of Fullerton/LaHabra.. Apparently not.

I've never been asked for money so frequently either too since driving this truck. Within same day, I've had someone ask me if they could spare a couple of bucks and i said i didn't have any.. Then he asked me if I could share some fuel. And an hour later, someone else asked me for some spare change and when i offered water, he refused..

Sorry, just want to vent a bit.

yah this world is a joke anymore. and you are right, you can trust no one! when i was in college my truck bed had a bit of snow in it one day so, to keep them frozen, i threw my box of hot pockets back there which was going to be my lunch when i got to work. well, came out of class and there were four lines from their fingers and a square indentation from where my box of hot pockets were scooped up. i just laughed and went on my way. seriously, who steals a $2 box of hot pockets out of someone's truck bed? should of put a box back there tainted with some viagra or something.

You're lucky they didn't key your truck just because you didn't have anything better to steal.

    Sorry to hear that...

Perhaps some poor bastard needed to stay warm last night. No chance the blanket blew out on the highway did it?

In all seriousness, I highly recommend the factory bed mat combined with the bed-mat-bolt mod. The bed mat is very tough and durable, nothing moves around back there. I really like mine.

I've had my truck broken into twice. The first time was two weeks after I bought it. They found out it was a manual tans. and left. $1,200.00 was the estimate for the damage. Second time I left my Ipod in the console my own stupid fault. I don't lock the doors anymore. My windows and door handles cost more than my stereo.
BTW my neighbor had his 1988 Dodge Caravan stolen from his driveway the week of Christmas.

I had an old fold up chair on my woodlot that I sometimes sit in when I'm taking a break. Now this isn't some nifty new one, but one that was held together with stove bolts and duct tape. It was there one day and gone the next. Glad I didn't leave my saws!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HA night before last someone broke the access cab window out of my roommates 99 for the $20 on the console while it was in the driveway. It was sitting next to a $500 pair of binos but the $20 was worth the effort.lol

You're not safe anywhere. I live in a nice neighborhood and have been there for 13 years. MY truck sits in my driveway right behind the garage door. There are 3 motion sensor lights that come on with any movement in the driveway. Someone decided to help themselves and route around in my truck, stole my ipod & an airsoft gun. Got the airsoft gun back (when they realized it wasn't a real gun, they ditched it in neighbors yard).

I thought it might be the teenager kids who hang around at the neighbors house late at night. Same damn kids that put matches to my plastic mailbox and left a 'melt' mark.

Hmmm kinda funny where states that perpetuate handouts have more people with hand out? Why is it I have never seen an Asian holding a sign that says "Will work for food"? I think they are working for food! Just sayin'

I just wish some aspects of American culture wasn't forgotten! ...or should I say re-written! :O
