    Four Spacers $100 - I got them from ONEBAR on here - They're 1.5# Synergy brand and are red anodized. With lugs if you want.

    First gens, on the front the lugs grab 8 of 11 threads. I ran em fine like that for over 15k miles. Too many online forums and countless hours I researched... but the definitive answer is, while it looks scary as hell... its fine.

    Exactly.

    Pins can get bent/broken or bind up. Having the kit allows field repairs.
