I just abused my truck on a drive down to Cabo. The truck has gotten a little cranky and I was hoping one of you could help me quickly troubleshoot. I'm very limited on tools and only have my hi-lift and my Spanish sucks so I thought I'd check with you guys before I go butcher the language trying to get local help. My steering has gotten real squeaky when turning. Sounds just like this. https://youtu.be/z-3xkWiJ9eI
Anything I can quickly lube or did I wear something out? Keep in my mind it's only got 6k miles on it

    Thanks in advance!

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
This is a joke, right? How the fuck is your undercarriage so rusty?

I'm betting he thought his stock suspension could race like a trophy truck.

@OP without knowing exactly where the squeaky is coming from it's hard to say.

See if the control arms are moving on the frame as you turn left to right. If not, I'd say a ball joint is toast

yeah, not my vid, but it's exactly the same. not stock suspension and have a solid All-pro set up. UCA's, bilstein 6112's up front, 5100s in the back w/ expedition springs. all from all-pro. as far as abuse, it's what I built it for....ripping through baja with all my overland gear. I took the north road into San Juanico, if you know of it, so a lot of dirt road, washboard, salt flats, silt fields, small river crossings. i'll take a look at control arms, but I think they are moving.

That is likely. I think one was contaminated right out of the box when I found some anti-seize on the uniball. I'll report back if I can isolate to that. Thanks!
