Maybe they have the install instructions in PDF format that you can download off of their website?

Care to share links? This is actually something that's bothered me as well.

@eon_blue @digitaLbraVo and whoever else is going tomorrow. What's the official plans? I think I read something about 9am Rowher, possible trail lunch? I'm headed down to Dana Point soon for work and then driving straight up to LA to Melissa's to spend the night so my drive won't be hell tomorrow morning. Gonna make her pick up everything we need for tomorrow while I'm working

There's a Panera up there we will meet at 9am then do a Yotavoy over to the trail head. I guess we're doing Rowher UP the "front side," down to Drinkwater, and then back over Rowher? I could be wrong.

I don't mind lunch at the peak of Rowher or Drinkwater?

It was a culmination of reading here and other places on the World Wide Web. Put it together to come up with the following conclusion - which makes sense to me:

The metal is actually hardened iron, not steel. Iron is prone to rust, however, because of the density and hardness of the metal, surface rust doesn't pose a viable threat. In short, by the time the rust on these parts actually starts to be concerning, we'll all have self-flying cars and driving will have been outlawed.

For those of use that are more concerned with the appearance of rust on our vehicles, there is no downside to cleaning it up, applying some Rustoleum, and painting it over. I also don't see a downside for painting the spots that do come in contact with other parts, like the steering stops. Only downside is you'll have to treat and paint more frequently because the contact will rub the paint off, causing it to start rusting again.

We'll have to talk with @Sandtaco about it, but if it's like the last time we met at Panera and did this run, we started with Drinkwater. That trail lets out on Bouquet and then we go down that road a bit until we hit the backside of Rowher, take that up and over and ultimately end up in the 3rd staging area at Rowher Flats where that trail technically begins.

Or we could do it the other way around, doesn't matter to me lol. Just want to wheel!

Yeah, if anything it's easier. Just some steep climbs that are rutted/rocky but you'll be fine

Yup. it's easier 'cause it doesn't have that sketchy rock drop-off there's a lot of fun hill climbs up it though.

Yeah from what I remember, there's nothing at Drinkwater that's really quite as comparable as the Lookout climb...but there are definitely plenty of '4lo and slow' sections.

If we come up from the backside we'd either be going down Lookout or down the Rowher Trail (like we did with Mike last time). I kinda want to do that again so we can hit up those '4 fingers' off to the side of Rowher, those are fun. Except for the one that ate Greg's Jeep...
