The first time I thought I snapped some gear teeth for sure. Relieved to realize what it was. But having it stick sucks too. I've stopped using it off road in all but the hairiest of Dont roll back spots. Didn't use e brake at all last slick rock trip

What you do when the wife and 2 older ones are visiting family on the east coast and you find out last minute you have the weekend off to go dove hunting but you have no one to watch the 2yr old. image.jpgimage.jpg

So my weekend is getting more strange...just had a guy knock on our door and apprently he rented our house for the next 5 days...

Some guy on Craigslist rented our place for $900 and the people wire transferred him the money. They drove all the way from Santa Rosa and now don't have a place to stay and out $900. Creepy someone is using our address, but probably because we just bought it and pictures of it are available online. Sucks for the people they had 4 kids with them and were probably stoked to have a house with a pool for the long weekend.

Although this got me thinking and apparently we can rent our house out for $160 a night. Time to help pay for the mortage haha.

Big thanks to @Bentrodder who helped me put my sliders on today. It was an operation that would've made Cal Trans proud, he did 90% of the work and I tried to look like I was doing something...haha.

Anyone in the Sac area might be interested: I was at IKEA today and they are having a clearance on the 8ft long butcher block style countertops. 1 1/2" thick, about 85lbs each. They are hardwood (oak, beech or birch) with a core. Thick enough to sand. Heavy bastards. $10 each! I grabbed 4 of them. They also had the white melamine.

    Along the awkward line...

Back in 2010 with houses getting foreclosed in record numbers, about a week after we just moved in, lady knocks on our door and tells us our house will be up for auction. WTF!?

Can anyone recommend a shop for a line x job? I just pulled my factory bedliner out and want to go the line x route. I'm in the East Bay but dont mind heading down to the south bay or peninsula. Thanks in advance for any recommendations. Dont mind paying the cash - the last thing I want is some earl scheib job.

Is it really that much? Seems like back in the early 2000s a drop in liner was a $400 bill and LineX was only a couple hundred more?
