Has anybody removed the vinyl between the windows after tinting the front ones in MGM? I'm thinking about doing and know what is looks like on GEN2 but I'd like to see it on GEN3. Please post a pic or two!

I know i posted in the other thread, but here is a comparison shot. The main reason I pulled them off was because the were uneven and it drove me nuts.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
I was very happy with the outcome. Looks much better imo

    Awesome looking truck.
    Any lift?
If only KO2 tires and 17" wheels (guessing around $1600 for both) for that look, I'd go for it once my new truck arrived.

I have the same wheels and tires
And it came out to be around $1600

    $600 for the wheels
$950 for the tires from 4 wheel parts Costco were cheaper $900 for all 4

$130 to have the tires and wheels mourned and balanced and TPMS switched over to the new wheels

I also was on the fence about taking them off. But happy I did. Before you could see the difference between the tinting on the front and rear windows. Was like looking at 3 different colours of black. Now you don't notice the difference.

Just peal off. Didn't even need a heat gun. Once started, just pull them down slowly and evenly and you should have very little to no glue left behind either. Took me maybe 10 minutes said and done.
