Due to snafu, tomorrow is CANCELLED.

Keep an eye out for the next one. Hoping to get a decent trip together for the Red River area.

Far, far worse things have happened lately. No worries.

If I can find time in the afternoon and the weather holds a bit, probably head out for a drive up that way to get familiar with the area.

I am going to go climb Wheeler Peak on Friday, probably just sleep in the truck Thursday night if I can't get a camp site near Bull of the Woods. Anyone interested?

I would've a few days ago but I've since made plans to go run part of the high water mark trail in AR. Unless you are already in the ABQ circle of friends don't expect much of a response in this thread, be safe and have fun! Let me know next time you're thinking of venturing out.

As far as I know a lot of us have been hemmed up... My truck was stolen, @tomtom has been working a lot. @BigFishAllDay where have you been? It seems like a lot of us have just had life get in the way over the last couple months...

I get PMs or people talk to me in person who want to do runs all the time. Keep posting, I think someone will jump in with you! I would suggest trying to be a little more descriptive to get some people excited maybe?

Yeah, sorry guys. Things have shifted at work resulting in 10-12 hour days. Originally had taken off tomorrow to make it a 4 day weekend but that got shitcanned. Regular weekends have been about catching up on chores, sleep and plain ol' living responsibilities. What time I have to break away has been on the mtb. Found it gets me out of the apartment and only eats up half a day in most cases.

I'm looking to plan something in the early Fall before the weather turns. I really don't know what though. Maybe I'll drive around in a general direction on Monday and get some ideas. In the meantime, I hope some folks get some adventuring done and maybe this thread helps facilitate it.

We have stayed at both Junebug and Roadrunner campgrounds in the past with great luck. There is a trailhead at the south end of Junebug that heads up to Pioneer Lake. Great hike and beautiful little lake. The lake is at 36.662254, -105.455772.

No pictures because we were too busy pedaling but just hit up Cedro Peak on mtbs with @NateMob. Good times. Hopefully heading down his way (Alamogordo) in late October/early November for some more pedaling adventures if anyone is interested.

I had a freaking blast man, it was a fun change of pace from the trails down here. I am thinking of coming up next Saturday and Sunday for the 12 Hours of Albuquerque and MTB Festival. Hang out and watch a little on Saturday and race in the 2 hour beginner race Sunday morning.

I was planning on hitting up Otero canyon on the 24th. Also, looking at riding up in Santa Fe the following weekend. I have to check with my friend up there to find out his schedule.

I'm taking off Oct 11th and Nov 14th. Let me know if either of those weekends would be a good riding weekend down south there.
